PURPOSE: To improve the serviceability and safety of an elevator by detecting such a fact that a door is opened during elevator driving with promptitude, and preventing it from occurring.

CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with a means 21 detecting a door close command, a means 22 detecting an actual door close state by means of a door position, and a means 23 detecting whether door closing force in a closed state is more than the specified value or not, and with this constitution, the means 21 detects a fact that a door close command is issued, the means 22 detected an actual door close state, and when door closing force detected by the means 23 is not more than the specified value, it is also provided with those of means 24-28 increasing the door closing force.
