Abstract:
To ensure peace of mind and safety by inhibiting a person from being infected with pathogens due to the utilization of an elevator.SOLUTION: When an elevator car 12 is put in a stand-by state after being moved to any one of landings 18-1 to 18-n of respective floors of a building and stopped thereon, an inner door 14 of the car 12 and an outer door 16 of the landing 18 are kept in an open state so as to provide an open space opened outward. Ventilation provided by a ventilation device 20 in the state of the open space achieves efficient discharge of droplet nuclei and the like including pathogens retaining in air within the car 12, and inhibits and prevents the next user from being infected with the pathogens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
