Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability or safety associated with work by suspending a new cage by means of a main rope via a new winding machine at the completion of work and withdrawing the existing cage or work floor used as a temporary cage.
SOLUTION: An existing cage 14 is suspended on a electrically driven hoist 17 via a wire rope 18. A receiver stand 11 and a floor beam 12 are mounted immediately above the beam and on the inner wall of the floor beam 12, a work floor member divided on the floor beam 12 is padded, and a work floor 13 is formed. A worker on the work floor 13 assembles a new cage 8 and replaces a winding machine 4 with a new one. In addition, a main rope 9 is replaced with a new one and wound and suspended via a new cage 8, a balance weight 7, a main rope 10, and a baffle sheave 6. After the new winding machine 4 and the new cage 8 have been completed, the work floor 13, the floor beam 12, and the receiver stand 11 are removed, and the existing cage 14 used as a temporary cage is dissembled and removed.
