Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a relieving means against a confinement accident in an elevator car at low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A microphone 2 for detecting the sound in an elevator car 1 is installed in the car 1. The acoustic signal detected by the microphone 2 is sent to a signal processing unit 4 via a microphone signal line 3. When the signal is recognized as the sound with the prescribed level or above, i.e., it is not the noises of a fan but the voice of a passenger, a door opening instruction is sent to an elevator control board 6 via a door opening signal line 5. The elevator control board 6 forcefully opens an elevator door upon receiving it.
