Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an elevator system which can properly inform passengers of the occurrence of a state of emergency in case of emergency.
CONSTITUTION: A car 1 is provided inside with an image display means 2 and with an emergency state detection means 3 detecting the occurrence of a sate of emergency for the operation of an elevator. When the elevator is normally operated, a normal time image generating means 4 supplying first image signals to the image display means 2, and an emergency time image generating means 5 supplying second image signals about a state of emergency to the image display means 2 in case of emergency are connected to the image display means 2 through a switch-over means 6.
