Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a passenger from a radioactive material or radiation ray in an elevator.SOLUTION: In elevators for construction applied to a region having a risk of radiation exposure, an outer plate of a cage body 11 on which a person rides has a multilayer structure, and one layer of the outer plate member having the multilayer structure is formed of a thick member G of a thickness several times greater than that of the outer plate member undergoing no exposure measure. In order to prevent breakage of articles that a passenger wears as the exposure measures, unevenness due to apparatuses attached to the inside of the cage body is covered with a flattening member.
