Abstract:
To provide an elevator in which work can be performed easily and safely without moving a car when inspecting an indicator incorporated into a modesty panel of a jamb where a landing doorway and a door device of a car are installed.
The elevator 1 has the indicator 42 in the modesty panel 201 of the jamb 200 where the door device 20 is installed. The modesty panel 201 has a front face part 203 and a bottom face part 204. At least one of the front face part 203 and the bottom face part 204 can be rotated to open the back part 421 of the indicator 42.
