Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator capable of more accurately detecting an abnormality of groove wear amount of a governor pulley.SOLUTION: An elevator includes: a car; a governor rotating in cooperation with the car; a governor rotary encoder 11 mounted to a shaft of the governor pulley and generating a pulse signal through the rotation of the governor pulley; a position sensor mounted to the car to detect a plurality of shield plates in a hoistway; a storage section 14 in which the pulse count number of the governor rotary encoder while the position sensor is passing through the plurality of shield plates during a floor height measuring operation of the elevator is stored as an initial value; and a comparison section 15 for comparing the initial value stored in the storage section with the pulse count number of the governor rotary encoder while the position sensor is passing through the plurality of shield plates during normal traveling of the elevator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
