Abstract:
To provide an elevator with which it is possible to suppress a decrease in the operating efficiency of an elevator in cases where door-opening operation of a car door is performed in a noncontact manner by causing a non-contact sensor to detect a shield.SOLUTION: An elevator 10 is configured to enable noncontact door-opening operation of car doors 22A, 22B mounted on a car 22, and comprises: a door-opening sensor unit 35 that detects light shielding so that the door-opening operation of the car doors 22A, 22B is performed in a noncontact manner; and a control device 46 that executes a door-opening mode to open the car doors 22A, 22B. When the state of the door-opening sensor unit 35 changes from detecting light shielding to not detecting light shielding during the execution of the door-opening mode, the control device 46 executes a door-closing mode in which the car doors 22A, 22B are closed after a first predetermined time period has elapsed since a first non-detection time, which is the time of the change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
