Abstract:
To improve the convenience of elevator occupants.SOLUTION: There is provided an elevator that displays an image in a car 102 using a terminal device equipped with a display unit provided in the car 102 that moves in a hoistway. The terminal device acquires an image captured by a camera that is provided on each floor, and displays on the display unit the acquired image on the floor where the car 102 is scheduled to stop. The terminal device also receives power supply in the car 102 from an electrical circuit 112 provided outside the car 102 via an outlet plug and a plug socket that accepts the insertion of the outlet plug, and displays the images on the display unit. According to such an elevator, the occupants in the car can be given an advance view of a boarding area 104 of the floor level at which they are scheduled to stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
