Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an elevator requiring no penthouse, having no limitation to an elevating stroke, and transferring less vibration, noise to passengers in a car.
SOLUTION: An elevator has a structure having a self-traveling type drive 20 elevating along a guide rail 21 and a main rope 6 in which one end is fixed to a hoistway side, and the other end is connected to a car 1 through the shieve 22 of the drive 20.
