An elliptical vibrating feeder comprises a linear trough 22, first leaf springs 21 and 28 for vibratably supporting the trough 22 horizontally, second leaf springs 29, 30, 31, and 32 for vibratably supporting the trough 22 vertically, a first magnet 35 for exciting the trough 22 horizontally, and a second magnet for exciting the trough 22 vertically. A phase difference is provided between vibration displacements caused by the excitation forces of the first and second magnets 35 and 34 in horizontal and vertical directions so as to make the trough 22 to perform an elliptic vibration. The second leaf spring is formed of at least two leaf spring elements 29, 30; 31, 32, and sufficiently thick spacer members 24, 33a, and 33b are provided between the leaf spring elements.
