Abstract:

To provide a medical probe.SOLUTION: The disclosed technology includes a medical probe comprising a tubular shaft extending along a longitudinal axis of the medical probe. The medical probe further comprises an expandable basket assembly coupled to the distal end of the tubular shaft. The basket assembly comprises a plurality of spines and a plurality of electrodes. Each of the electrodes comprises an electrode body, and the electrode body defines a lumen through the electrode body such that the corresponding spine extends through the lumen. The basket assembly comprises an electrically insulative jacket disposed between each spine and the corresponding electrode. Each of the electrode body and electrically insulative jacket comprises a substantially circular cross-sectional shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
