Title:
EMBARKATION FIXING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3933428
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of sliding resistance by smoothly engaging hook parts without using racks and pinions for stretching wire ropes by hooking the hook parts to an embarkation, so as to prevent the deterioration of the strength of teeth caused by a small module.
SOLUTION: The wire ropes 7 and 8 are pulled out from respective ratchet wheels 5 and 6, their hook parts 12 and 14 are hooked to a part of a wheelchair and a handle 15 is operated. Thus, rocking pawls 28 and 32 rotate the ratchet wheels 5 and 6 in the state of being engaged with the ratchet wheels 5 and 6, the ratchet wheels 5 and 6 are rotated in a wind-up direction to wind the ropes 7 and 8 by a prescribed quantity to stretch them to fix the wheelchair to a floor 4. Since the ropes are wound by the pawls 28 and 32 and the ratchet wheels 5 and 6, engaging is smooth to prevent the deterioration of strength, sliding resistance never occurs and winding efficiency is improved to improve durability.
