To provide an embedded beacon which enables replacement of a marker light fixture in a short period of time.
The embedded beacon comprises the beacon fixture, a base stand A, clamping means 21b, N, and gasket D. The beacon fixture is formed of a light leading window 31, and an optical unit 40 including a light source 41 incorporated in a lighting body 30 so as to emit light toward the light leading window. The base stand has a recess 21a which accommodates therein at least part of the beacon fixture and allows the beacon fixture to be mounted thereon. The base stand A is embedded in a road. The clamping means 21b, N function to clamp the beacon fixture to the base stand. The gasket D is arranged on a clamping plane portion 21a1 of the base stand on which the beacon fixture is mounted, and makes watertight the interior defined by the beacon fixture and the base stand.
