Abstract:
The invention provides an embedded magnet type motor capable of suppressing a decrease in effective magnetic flux due to leakage magnetic flux and suppressing a decrease in strength of a rotor core. The rotor 30 of the embedded magnet type motor 1 is provided with an air gap 52, which functions as a flux barrier, between a circumferential end surface of a magnet 33 embedded in the rotor core 32 at the radially outer end portion thereof and the magnetic pole portion 34. An outer peripheral portion 36 of the magnetic pole part 34 that are adjacent in the circumferential direction is provided on the outer circumference side of the magnet 33 and the first gap 52. The outer peripheral surface 361 of the outer peripheral portion 36 is formed in a convex shape, and is arranged on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral surface 341 of the magnetic pole part 34. Further, a punching hole 38 is formed at the end on the inner peripheral side of the magnetic pole part 34 to form the second gap 53.
