Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watermark inserting method which purposes mainly the embedding in a binary image and enables detection without depending upon characteristic of a scanner which performs reading again when printing is once performed.
SOLUTION: A means for extracting a document region, a means for performing character recognition and extracting the same character codes, and a means for comparing feature amount of the character and detecting the same fonts are used. A heavy line is formed in a part of one character image of the same cord and font. In the case of detection, difference is detected by the same sequences.
