Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embolus discharge catheter capable of keeping a target lumen in its expanded state even after manipulation of the lumen.SOLUTION: An embolus discharge catheter 100 includes: a long main body unit 30 including lumens 31, 32 in which liquid material can circulate; a first discharge unit 10 for discharging liquid material supplied from the main body unit after being made to be filamentous embolus, in a first direction crossing the axial direction of the main body unit; a second discharge unit 20 which is arranged closer to a distal end in the longer direction of the main body unit than the first discharge unit and discharges liquid material supplied from the main body unit in a second direction crossing the axial direction and the first direction; a first rotation drive unit 16 for making the first discharge unit rotate in a first rotation direction; and a second rotation drive unit 24 for making the second discharge unit rotate in a second rotation direction reverse to the first rotation direction.
