Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the slackening of a packing band while reducing the longitudinal cracking and meandering thereof by parallelly holding two cylindrical rolls between two bearing stands erected on a bed so as to freely rotate both of them centering around the axes thereof and carving non-linear V-grooves in the peripheries of the respective rolls at a predetermined pitch.
CONSTITUTION: In an emboss processing apparatus for a packing band, movable bearing housings 21 are supported on two bearing stands 22 erected on the table surface 17 of a bed 16 in opposed relationship so as to be freely slidable in an up-and-down direction. A roll 2 is supported between the movable bearing housings 21, 21 so as to be freely rotatable centering around its axis 4 and a roll 3 is held between the fixed bearing housings 7, 7 fixed to the bearing stands 22 so as to be freely rotationally driven centering around its axis 24. Further, a large number of zigzag V-grooves 2a, 3a are parallelly carved in the peripheries of the upper and lower rolls 2, 3 at a predetermined pitch.
