Abstract:
PURPOSE:To work embosses mixed with different patterns by dividing a male and a female roll into plural parts in the axial direction and combining rolls having a specified range each to the degree of shrinkage of a hard base material in embossing by each roll. CONSTITUTION:The base material B is inserted between the male and the female roll 3, 4 which mesh with each other and have uneven patterns on the outer peripheral surfaces and embossed. Then, the male and the female roll 3, 4 are divided into plural parts 3-1, 3-2, 4-1, 4-2. When the respective degrees of shrinkage of the hard base material B in embossing by the male and the female roll 3, 4 divided into this plurality take ranges 2:8-8:2, rolls are combined. By this method, it is possible to work embosses where different patterns are combined.
