Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an embossed web excellent in smoothness, flexibleness, lightness and softness.
CONSTITUTION: In the embossed webs which are prepared by embossing one ply paper web of 15 to 60g/m2 unit weight or 2 ply webs each having 10 to 30g/m2 unit weight, each formed emboss has a substantially flat top face, 0.2-1.0mm diameter and 0.2-2mm depth in a density of 30 to 150 embosses per 10mm2 web on the average.
