Abstract:
PURPOSE: To heat a material efficiently and stably with a heater having small capacity by a molding machine wherein a material of a specified width having sprocket holes is preheated by a heating punch of a lower mold in a state that the material is being pressed by an upper mold and the material is simultaneously embossed from the lower part by a molding punch.
CONSTITUTION: An upper mold operating air cylinder 5-1 operates downward to a material 10 laid on a fixed stripper 3 and the material 10 is pressed by a molding die 5-2. In this state, a lower mold operating air cylinder 4-1 operates upward and a lower mold attaching plate 4 rises for predetermined strokes. By the rising of the lower mold attaching plate 4, the material 10 is preheated by a heating punch 4-5 attached to the plate 4. At the same time, the material is embossed by a molding punch 4-4 so as to mold a housing box 10-2.
