Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data creation device, an embroidery data creation program, and a computer-readable storage medium storing the embroidery data creation program which can create embroidery data for enabling an embroidery pattern to be formed within a hole formed in a sewing object.SOLUTION: A sewing machine acquires cutting data and embroidery data (S1 and S2). The cutting data is data for forming a hole in a fabric. The embroidery data is data for sewing an embroidery pattern. The sewing machine computes the smallest polygon including the embroidery pattern according to the embroidery data (S3) and develops a hole shape corresponding to the cutting data and the polygon in an RAM (S4 and S6). The sewing machine creates a bridge line segment at each vertex of the polygon and creates bridge data (S7). The bridge line segment links the vertex of the polygon with the peripheral part of a circle. The sewing machine sews bridges around the embroidery pattern according to the bridge data, so that the embroidery pattern can be arranged within the hole.
