Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily make embroidery data so that number of changes of threads can be reduced by a method wherein embroidery data are inputted to judge an upper and lower relationship between embroidery figures, and a sewing order is changed so that an embroidery figure of the same thread code as the code that is judged that there is no upper and lower relationship is continuously sewn.
CONSTITUTION: A CRT display 2, a key board 3 and a mouse 4, as input means, for selecting coordinates input and menu of embroidery figures, an outside storage device 5, and a flash memory device 6 are connected to a control device CD of an embroidery data processing device. For making embroidery data, a plurality of embroidery figures including region defining data for defining regions to be filled with embroidery seams and thread codes of threads to be put in the regions and embroidery data having the sewing order of a plurality of embroidery figures are inputted from the input means. And embroidery data are made by changing the sewing order so as to continuously sew embroidery figires having the same thread code as the code which is judged that there is no upper and lower relationship.
