To provide an embroidery frame by which a work fabric is naturally attached/detached with one operation and which is suitable for a continuous pattern work in the joint part of the right and left bodies of clothes, etc.

The embroidery frame 11 includes: a substantially ring shape outer frame 21; and an inner frame 22 for holding the work fabric with the outer frame 21. The inner frame 22 partially includes an open part 29 which does not restrict the work fabric. A fastener 30 is disposed between both the ends of the inner frame 22, which is opposed at the open part 29. The fastener 30 includes: a pair of arch pieces 31, 32 arranged over the open part 29; a link 37 for connecting the arch pieces 31, 32, so as to be freely expansible; a lever 38 for driving the link 37; and a guide part 36 for guiding the arch pieces 31, 32 straight in the width direction of the open part 29. The link 37 and the lever 38 constitute a link mechanism which extends/contracts the width of the open part 29.
