Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery sewing machine capable of easily performing adjustment of swing width for allowing a sewing needle to swing with respect to a cloth stretched across an embroidery frame, while grasping the embroidery frame with both hands.SOLUTION: An embroidery sewing machine includes: a bed part extending in the horizontal direction; a needle plate which is provided at an upper surface of the bad part, on which a cloth to be sewn is place and in which a long hole is formed in which a sewing needle for sewing passes; an arm part provided above the bed part; a needle bar provided opposing to the needle plate at the arm part and including the sewing needle at a lower end; a repetition motion device for allowing the needle bar to perform a repetition motion vertically; a swing motion device for allowing the needle bar to perform a swing motion along the long hole with swing width equal to or less than maximum allowable width; and swing width adjustment mechanism connected to the swing motion device, and for adjusting the swing width of the swing motion of the needle bar to the desired swing width equal to or less than the maximum allowable width, according to an operation amount of an operation part provided adjacent to the needle bar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
