To construct an embroidery working shop system which carries out embroidery work with designated embroidery color threads freely to various fabric materials directly or via e-mail corresponding to the needs of a user, and to provide an apparatus for carrying out the embroidery based on embroidery data to the fabric material required for the system.

The embroidery working shop system and the embroidery apparatus are provided with: a first data base of Kanji; a second data base in which illustration drawn by the user, a message, etc. are inputted by an input device by recognizing them by character recognition or pattern recognition; a user information data base to which user bibliography matter data is imparted; and a fabric material/color kind data base. From fabric material data and color kind data, the designated fabric material and the designated embroidery color threads are retrieved, data are expanded/reduced so that embroidery is applied within an embroidering range, embroidery is performed with the designated embroidery color threads, and the fabric material such as the towel utilizing the user information data base is worked to prepare the finished product.
