Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency reporting device which can rescue a driver who caused an accident even if notification via communication is impossible at occurrence of an emergency state of a car such as collision. SOLUTION: An emergency reporting device incorporated in a rearview mirror housing 20 has a judgment part 8 on wireless communication state. If the wireless communication state is sufficient, the wireless communication is used for notification of an emergency state. On the other hand, when it is detected that the wireless communication state is not sufficient, the emergency state is announced around using a horn part 3 and an emergency report exclusive buzzer 13 constituting a means for issuing an alarm sound, and the emergency state is notified around in light using a hazard lamp part 4 and a flash lamp 14 constituting a light emitting means. When a vehicle power supply 5 is not operating, an emergency report exclusive power supply 16 is operated.
