To safely discharge a combustible gas in a furnace, when a trip is caused in a gasification-melting system plant.
A gasifier 6 and a melting furnace 9 are provided in the system. A shutoff valve 34, which closes automatically when a trip is caused, is provided near the furnace inlet in the flue. A discharge pipe for emission of gassification gas is provided near the valve 34, which automatically closes in a tripping, on the gasifier side. A shutoff valve 35, which automatically opens in a tripping, is provided to the gas-discharge pipe. A sealing mechanism 4 is provided in a dust-supply chute part in a flow before the gasifier. An inert gas-blowing pipe 39 is provided in the sealing mechanism 4 or between the upstream of the sealing mechanism and the outlet of a dust supplier 2. An excessive inert-gas extraction pipe 40 is provided to discharge excessive gas, to prevent the inside of the gasifier from being pressurized positively by blowing-in of the inert gas.
