Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency ladder which enables rapid escape without any risk in an emergency and which can be ordinarily folded to decrease its folding width.SOLUTION: A parallel link mechanism 4 is configured in such a manner that at least one link is formed of a U-shaped cross-section channel material, a large number of steps 3 are pivotally supported on its inside, and the other link is fitted to the one link.
