To provide an emergency light in which heat or water produced through electrochemical reaction at a fuel cell give no effect to a control circuit interposed between the fuel cell and a light emitting section.
An intercepting part 16 composed of a thermal insulation member 40 and a waterproof sealing member 42 is provided between a control circuit 14 and a fuel cell 20. When the electrochemical reaction of fuel 38 and oxygen occurs at the fuel cell 20, reaction heat is generated in addition to steam (moisture). Moisture and heat thus generated are intercepted by the intercepting part 16. Since the intercepting part 16 intercepts moisture or heat entering the control circuit 14 and a switch 15, troubles due to moisture or heat are prevented surely at the control circuit 14 and operations at the control circuit 14 and the switch 15 are stabilized.
