Title:
EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006278242
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an emergency lighting system capable of surely changing a battery determined to be dead after performing inspection for a prescribed time or longer.

An inspection control part 19B monitors existence of exchange of the battery 20 when the end of the service life of the battery 20 is detected, and if it determines that the battery 20 is changed and normal (step 3), an inspection control part 19B cancels information that the battery 20 is at the end of its service life stored in the storage means 61 and changes an information state of an LED 7 from turn-on to turn-off (step 5). While, if the inspection switch 5 is operated in such a state that the battery 20 is not changed, the inspection control part 19B determines whether the periodic inspection is performed, returns to the step 1 while keeping the status information of the battery 20 stored in the storage means 61 as the end of service life if it is not a performance in a periodic inspection mode or if it is determined that the state of a battery 20 is abnormal after the periodic inspection.
