To provide an emergency stop display installation device appropriately guiding a following vehicle to run when an own vehicle stops for an emergency.
The emergency stop display installation device 1 includes: a driver condition monitor portion 15 and a vehicle failure monitor portion 17 that detect the emergency condition for which the own vehicle running on a road needs an emergency stop; a GPS portion 9 and a navigation device 11 that detect the own vehicle running lane where the own vehicle runs among lanes of the road; a display dropping device 19 that drops two or more warning flares and triangle reflectors on the road and set them up when the driver condition monitor portion 15 or vehicle failure monitor portion 17 detects an emergency condition; and a control ECU 21 that controls the arrangement of two or more warning flares and triangle reflectors on the road based on the detected own vehicle running lane.
