Abstract:
Provided is an emergency stop device capable of reducing the possibility of erroneous operation of a button by a worker, regardless of the presence or absence of a cover. The emergency stop device 1 is provided with a button 2, a proximity sensor 3, and a warning unit. The button 2 has an operation portion 21 operated by a worker. The proximity sensor 3 is provided at the top surface of the operation portion 21 and detects the proximity of a worker. The warning unit warns the worker in response to the detection of the proximity of the worker by the proximity sensor 3.
