Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:An emetine type compound shown by the formula I [R1 is lower alkoxy; R2 is H, or lower alkoxycarbonyl; R3 is H, or ethyl; X is O or two H; ring A is linked ring shown by the formula II (R' is H or lower alkoxy) or formula III].
EXAMPLE: 2-(3,'4'-Dihydro-6',7'-dimethoxy-1'-isoquinolinylmethyl)-3-methoxycarbonyl-1,2,3,6,7-11b-hexahydro-9,10-dimethoxybenzo[a]quinolizine-4-one.
USE: A drug.
PROCESS: A benzoquinolizine derivative shown by the formula IV is mixed with a compound shown by the formula V and subjected to Michaelis' addition reaction, to give a compound shown by the formula I.
