To provide an EMI (electromagnetic interface) filter having a volume smaller than that of the conventional EMI filter and capable of saving the amount of usage of a covering material.
This EMI filter is provided with an inductance coil having four leads pulled out therefrom; a ceramic capacitance plate whose first surface having a plurality of conductor film areas, and second surface having one conductor film area and each of the plurality of conductor film areas on the first surface and the conductor film area on the second surface constituting electrodes of one capacitor; a metal film capacitor member having two leads; and an earth lead. The EMI filter is characterised in that two leads of the inductance coil are electrically connected to the electrodes of the plurality of capacitors, respectively, other two leads of the inductance coil are electrically connected to the two leads of the metal film capacitor member, respectively, and one end of the earth lead is electrically connected to the conductor film area on the second surface of the ceramic capacitance plate.
