Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst having both of heat resistance and HC purification property in a lean burn system.SOLUTION: There is provided an exhaust gas purification catalyst for purifying hydrocarbon in exhaust gas for a lean burn system, containing a carrier containing alumina and magnesium and Pd carried on the carrier, in which amount of magnesium is 3 wt.% to 10 wt.% based on total amount of the carrier in terms of magnesium oxide. The exhaust gas purification catalyst contains Pd and Pd is carried on the carrier with a fine particle shape of PdO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
