Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an empty can press which has simple structure and with which a high-strength empty can is also crushed by small force.
SOLUTION: A pillar 2 is erected on a base plate 1 and a pressing mechanism part 10 consisting of a sliding member 3, a operating lever 4 and a pressing rod 5 is arranged on this pillar 2. The sliding member 3 is like a horizontal rod and is pierced with the pillar 2. The operating lever is made to be freely turned up and down by pivotally supporting the base end of the operating lever 4 to the sliding member. The pressing rod 5 is hung down in freely rockable on the midway on the side of the base end of the operating lever 4. A can storing container 7 is placed on the base plate 1 just under the pressing rod 5. The empty can is crushed into the small with the pressing rod 5 by downward turning the operating lever 4 after the empty can is charged into the can storing container 7.
