To provide an empty container crushing device which can crush empty containers such as empty cans by hand safely and without fail.

A crushing section 10 to crush empty containers is formed in a square plate shape where projected pieces like blades are arranged lengthwise and crosswise. Both ends of the crushing section 10 and two columnar handles 30a, 30b are supported by two supporting plates 20a, 20b. Both ends of a receiving section 40 formed in a square plate shape are supported in a tilted posture by two supporting plates 50a, 50b. Each supporting plate 50a, 50b is supported by a support section 70 formed as a square frame structure. The end parts on the crushing section 10 side of each supporting plate 50a, 50b which supports the receiving section 40, and the bottom end parts of each supporting plate 20a, 20b which supports the crushing section 10 and each handle 30a, 30b are connected through a spindle so that the crushing section 10 and each supporting plate 20a, 20b supporting the handle 30a, 30b are made rotatable.
