To provide a technique for improving an elastic index as a visco-kinetic characteristic in a cosmetic such as massage cosmetic.

This cosmetic is an emulsifying composition containing 10-60 mass% oil and fat component having fluidity under conditions of 1 atmospheric pressure and 37°C. In the cosmetic, (1) 0.1-20 mass% of the oily component is an ester of a dimer acid and (2) 20-50 mass% of the oily component is a meadowfoam oil and/or tetraoctanoic acid pentaerythrit. The cosmetic is preferably an oil-in-water type emulsifying agent and the cosmetic is preferably a massaging agent. A dimer dilinolic acid dimer dilinoleyl is preferable as the dimer acid ester. The cosmetic preferably further comprises a polyoxyethylene fatty acid glyceryl and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester.
