Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic emulsifier enabling a large amount of oily material to easily be emulsified into an O/W emulsion and capable of suitably dealing with various kinds of oily material by selecting an appropriate silane compound to match oily material as an emulsifying object. SOLUTION: This cosmetic emulsifier is composed of a silylated peptide-silane compound copolymer composition produced by condensation polymerization of at least one kind selected from silylated peptides each having two hydroxyl groups directly combined with silicon atom with at least one kind selected from silane compounds each causing two or more hydroxyl groups directly combining with silicon atom through hydrolysis in an aqueous solution.
