Title:
EMULSION POLYMER CROSSLINKABLE IN TWO WAYS UNDER AMBIENT CONDITIONS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3687903
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer/a crosslinking-based polymer which is crosslinkabe in two ways and suitable for producing a nonwoven fabric product with high quality.
SOLUTION: A polymer binder has at least two different reactive functional groups, that is, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. These functional groups are capable of reacting with two other functional reactants, that is, polyaldehyde and aziridine which are present in a polymer and reactive with one of polyaldehyde and azirdine. When the reactive functional groups are selected in such a way together with selection of a crosslinking agent, curing at ambient temperature is made possible and thus the nonwoven fabric product having high quality is obtained.
