Abstract:
A sealed battery (10) includes an electrode assembly (30); a case (21) having an opening portion (21A) and accommodating the electrode assembly (30); a lid (22) closing the opening portion (21A) and having a through-hole (242; 244); a collector terminal (40; 80) including an inner terminal segment (420; 820) and a projection (426; 826); and an insulating seal (50) in contact with a bottom surface (22B) of the lid (22), the bottom surface (22B) being an inner side of the lid (22) in a thickness direction of the lid (22), the inner side of the lid (22) facing an inside of the case (21) when the lid (22) closes the opening portion (21A), and the insulating seal (50) providing sealing between the lid (22) and the collector terminal (40; 80). The lid (22) has a protrusion (710) protruding from the bottom surface (22B) of the lid (22). The protrusion (710) surrounds the through-hole (242; 244). A part of the protrusion (710) protrudes into the through-hole (242; 244). The through-hole (242) has a smallest opening diameter at a position at which the part of the protrusion (710) protrudes into the through-hole (242; 244).
