PURPOSE: To improve the leaktightness of a cell by forming an insulating packing made of resin of an enclosed cell thicker at the portion where a gate is provided than at other portions.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating packing 7 made of resin is formed thicker at the portion where an injecting gate is provided at the time of molding than at other portions. Since molding is easy and the crystallization of resin is accelerated, the insulating packing 7 having high crystallinity and excellent in mechanical strength and chemical resistance is obtained. Therefore, when the insulating packing 7 is mechanically compressed by a sealing plate 2 and a cell case 1 at the time of cell construction, the insulating packing 7 is not broken, and the insulating packing 7 is not corroded even if it is brought into contact with an electrolyte while the cell is stored. Accordingly, an enclosed cell excellent in leaktightness is obtained.
