Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent softening of packing by providing a recess at the valve receiving section while making lift of delivery valve equal to thickness of packing and said recess section.
CONSTITUTION: A recess 6h is provided at the valve receiving section of a delivery valve board 4 of head cover 6. Since lift of delivery valve 4b is equal to the thickness of packing 5 plus the recess 6h in head cover 6, lift of delivery valve 4b can be increased easily by selecting said recess 6h without employing thick packing. Consequently the packing 5 will never soften even if lift of delivery valve 4b is increased thereby sealing performance is never damaged.
