Title:
ENCLOSED SWITCHBOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6426310
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable inexpensive switchboard by partitioning the inside of the housing of a switchboard into two regions and enclosing heat radiating components in one region along with a cooling means and enclosing drip-proof and dust-proof components in the other region. CONSTITUTION: Two regions 1, 2 are formed in the inside of the housing of a switchboard by means of a partitioning wall 3. Vents 5, 8 opened to the outside and a cooling fan 4 are provided in the region 1 and radiators 6, 7 for heat generating components, e.g. a transformer, is housed therein. Drip-proof and dust-proof components, e.g. an electronic switching circuit, are housed in the region 2 while being enclosed against the outer air. According to the structure, outer air can be prevented from having effect on a drip-proof component while utilizing the space in the housing optimally.
