Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact enclosed switchgear with high insulation reliability capable of controlling behavior of a metal foreign matter existing in an enclosed container and of making the metal foreign matter harmless.SOLUTION: In an enclosed switchgear in which a high-voltage conductor 1 is supported by an insulator 2 inside an enclosed container 4 filled with insulation gas 3, resistance coating 9 consisting of a material having resistance characteristics is attached onto a surface of the high-voltage conductor 1. A resistance value of the resistance coating 9 is set such that a metal foreign matter 5 electrically connected to the high-voltage conductor 1 holds an electric charge having a reverse polarity to that of a voltage applied to the high-voltage conductor 1 and electrostatic force toward the high-voltage conductor 1 is less than gravity acting on the metal foreign matter 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
