Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To couple and separate an encoder and a motor freely by a method wherein a mounting screw comprising a flange body installed at a shaft so as to be freely rotatable is tightened and loosened.
SOLUTION: A cylindrical shaft 4 is installed, so as to be freely rotatable, at bearings 2, 3 on a base 1. A straight through hole 5 which passes through the shaft 4 and a taper hole 6 which communicates with the through hole are formed. Only the tip side of the through hole 6 has a screw part 7a, and a straight mounting screw 7 is formed on the other side so as to be freely rotatable. A ring flange body 9 which can be expanded and opened freely is formed at a groove-shaped slender diameter part at the screw 7, and it is situated inside the hole 6. Then, the screw part 7a is held by the base 1 so as to be freely rotatable with referende to a motor case 22, and it is screwed to a screw hole 23a at a motor shaft 23 comprising a taper part 23b. Then, when the screw 7 is tightened, the shaft 4 and the motor shaft 23 can be tightened and coupled. Then, when the screw 7 is loosened, the screw part 7a is separated from the hole 23a, the flange body 9 is brought into contact with an end part 6a at the taper hole 6, and the shaft 4 can be separated from the motor shaft 23.
