Abstract:
To encrypt communication between terminals, to allow a gateway apparatus to censor encrypted communication for information leakage prevention.
A gateway apparatus 3 prepares a pair of public and secret keys by public key encryption system. The public key is distributed to terminals 2a to 2c managed by the gateway apparatus 3. The terminals 2a to 2c encrypt a common key with the public key and imparts it to packet after encrypting a communication packet with the conventional common key. The gateway apparatus 3 decrypts the common key using the secret key, censors the packet, and transfers it to the network 1c where opposite terminals 2d-2f are present after restoring the conventional encrypted packet format.
