Abstract:

To check the contents of an encrypted packet by a repeater in end-to-end encrypted communication.

An SIP server 3 instructs a repeater 4 for repeating a packet between an originating side terminal 1A and a terminating side terminal 1B to establish a security pass between the originating side terminal 1A and the incoming side terminal 1B. Then the security pass is established between the originating side terminal 1A and the terminating side terminal 1B. Since the repeater 4 can decrypt an encrypted packet once by using information concerned with SA which is exchanged between the repeater 4 and the originating side terminal 1A, the security of the packet can be checked.
